Windsor House Adult Day Health Programs is New Communities Services' geriatric division. Windsor House operates four lively cost-effective adult day health centers that improve the quality of life for participants and their families. As one of the first adult day health programs in the nation, Windsor House has an excellent track record keeping adults where they want to be-in the familiar settings of their homes and communities.

Medical Care:
Windsor House provides nursing services, including, but not limited to, diabetic management, blood pressure checks, monitoring of vital signs, and medication management; as well as rehabilitative care; and assistance with personal needs.
Companionship and Fun:
Games, music, entertainment, crafts, and discussion groups keep participants alert, physically active and interacting with staff and fellow participants.
Social Services:
We access a full range of community services, including working in depth with physicians, arranging doctors appointments, transportation and escorts if needed, individual and family counseling, and health education. Windsor House sponsors Caregiver Support Groups, and have specialized programming.
Specialized Care:
Physical or cognitive limitations are not obstacles to participation. Activities are adapted to each individual's capabilities. Windsor House has contacts with physical therapists and occupational therapists. Our staff also implement the Rehabilitation Method for working with cognitively impaired adults.
Nutritious Meals:
Nutritious meals are served daily at Windsor House. We serve breakfast with a choice of entrees including cereal, toast, muffins, juice, coffee and tea; a hot noon meal including specific dietary needs; and a nutritious afternoon snack.
Transportation:
We arrange transportation to and from our programs.
Care-Coordination:
Windsor House staff have a strong relationship with doctor's offices, Somerville Cambridge Elder Services, BayPath and most recently Central Boston Elder Services that enables us to efficiently coordinate care.
Our Staff:
Windsor House's multidisciplinary staff bring compassion, training and commitment to their jobs. Staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, and Alzheimer's Care.
