Affordable Housing

Affordable Housing

The New Communities Services, (NCS) housing program develops and manages attractive affordable housing.

New Communities Services' residents are a diverse group of people living in affordable housing units that New Communities has developed or manages in the Greater Boston area. These housing sites serve families, elders, single adults and persons with disabilities.

In addition, NCS provides enhanced supportive services and housing placement to disabled persons with a history of homelessness.

New Communities Services makes notable contributions to the neighborhoods in which our housing is located by involving significant rehabilitation of abandoned and/or deteriorating buildings or properties.

New Communities Services facilitates supportive services between residents and community agencies by identifying appropriate services and coordinating individual support service plans to meet each individual's needs that foster their continued independence.

NCS supports individuals in maintaining their independence through supportive housing and participation in an adult day health program when appropriate.
